Project Reference: : 2016-1-BG01-KA202-023652
Implementation period: October 2016 – September 2018
Coordinator: RAABE Bulgaria
The 3MVET is an international project focusing on the vocational training in the metal, engineering and technology-based industries. The project aimed at improvement of the quality of the initial vocational training in the mentioned sectors and at increasing its attractiveness among students. We pursued our aim through equipping the involved parties with innovative education materials meant to support the teaching, training and learning processes.
Within the project there have been developed the following outputs:
- • 3MVET Teachers’ Handbook – methodological guidance for VET teachers in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Metalworking and Metallurgy
- 3MVET Mentors’ Handbook – training materials for company mentors engaged in the delivery and monitoring of work placement activities for apprentices and interns
- 3MVET Recognition Matrix – a mapping of expected learning outcomes in 3M allowing for transnational recognition of knowledge, skills and competencies
The materials can be beneficial not only to teachers and private sector mentors/trainers, but also to students (apprentices, interns) studying for a qualification in one of the 3M industries, young professionals, as well as to their employers.
The project has been implemented by a consortium of seven partners: vocational and tertiary level education institutions and companies operating in 3M and education sector, representing four countries – Bulgaria, Germany, Spain and Turkey.
