Embrace  – Empowering Teachers in Building of Resilient Ambiance for Early Childhood Education

The project “Empowering Teachers in Building of Resilient Ambiance for Early Childhood Education” (EMBRACE) proposes the implementation of a well-structured set of measures focused on some of the most important aspects of early childhood education and care (ECEC).

The key OBJECTIVE of the EMBRACE project is to make a significant contribution to the development of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) targeting children up to 3 years of age. The project provides a holistic and focused approach addressing the professional competencies of ECEC staff (teachers, medical and nursery staff, assistants, etc.), developing training materials, and updating the ECEC curriculum. It also aims to raise awareness among key stakeholders, including parents, about the importance of high-quality early childhood education.

The initiative is implemented in Bulgaria, Poland and Lithuania.

Through the development, testing, and implementation of innovative educational resources and teacher training, the project aims to:

• improve the quality of early childhood education and care by developing, testing, and implementing an innovative digital tool – an activity book with exercises for children aged 0–3
• provide an inclusive and safe environment for learning and socialization of the youngest children, supporting their cognitive and socio-emotional development
• create opportunities for continuous training and professional development of teachers through the development of an innovative online training platform
• raise awareness among society and parents about the importance of early childhood education and care and develop recommendations for improving curricula in this field
